Q:

Why doesn't my camera take pictures or record video?

A:

It is possible that there is no more storage space available. You should either replace the memory card, or delete some of the files on the memory card in order to create room to record more video or take more photos. If this does not work, you may need to either try using a different memory card, or format your existing memory card.

Q:

Why are the images blurry or out of focus?

A:

The camera may have been moving when the image was captured. Hold the camera steady when shooting a picture. Also, for best results make sure that you have plenty of light available when shooting your photos.

Q:

Why are images I recorded not saved in memory?

A:

Make sure that your camera was not turned off before the files are saved in memory. Also, if the battery low indicator appears on the LCD screen, replace the batteries immediately.

Q:

Why do some of my indoor pictures look blurry and dark?

A:

Your camera extends each picture's exposure time under low light/ indoor condition. Keep the camera (and photographed subject) steady for several seconds when taking pictures in these conditions. The shutter will sound when the picture has been taken.

Q:

How do I make sure I don't lose important pictures?

A:

This camera requires an SD card for normal use. If the camera's power is off, nothing will happen to the images stored on the SD memory card. We recommend always downloading your photos to your computer as soon as possible to prevent unintentional data loss.

Q:

I have taken photos and selected the "Get Images" button. I get a message that the images were successfully transferred but the photos do not appear on my computer. What do I do?

A:

First ensure that you have in fact taken photos. Press the Shutter button to take some sample photos and then try downloading them again. With test photos (if applicable to your camera), if the camera's power is off before you upload them to the computer, the photos are not stored in the camera's memory. These photos should be uploaded quickly before the camera's power is off. If the photos are saved to the SD memory card, then all the photos should appear.

Q:

I deleted images using the Polaroid Instant Memories. The images were also deleted from my computer. How do I recover images that I accidently deleted?

A:

All images deleted using the Polaroid Instant Memories are sent to your computer's Recycle or Trash Bin and can be retrieved from there.
